DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX retain their editable Office packages while supported text is translated. Text-based PDFs use selectable text and export to DOCX; scanned or image-only PDFs are not accepted.

What file will I download?

DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX translations download in the same editable format. TXT and text-based PDF translations download as editable DOCX files.

Are references translated?

Recognised reference blocks and scholarly identifiers are protected from ordinary translation.

Can it translate scanned PDFs?

Not currently. A PDF must contain selectable text; OCR is outside the present scope.
